At Ember, we've been hard at work combing through a staggering 262 resources and analyzing the US’s War on Drugs – the creation, perpetuation, and the changes needed. We are delighted to announce our new project breaking down what we have learned so you can easily see how we got here, the challenges we face, and how YOU can join in to make change wherever you are.

The drug war perpetuates devastating personal harms, disproportionately affecting marginalized communities. It leads to normalized criminalization, punishment, and systemic discrimination. Incarceration fails to reduce drug use, while overdose deaths and post-release risks soar.
